I am very interested in continuing to use Avira.Ĭonsider the following user feedback from a loyal customer and nothing else: In order to get infected file protection, customers must agree to also install "optimization features" which modify user systems for reasons that go beyond anti-virus protection.ĭoes Avira offer 'pay-for' software that would allow us to continue to benefit from Avira's antivirus definitions while turning off "optimization features"?Īvira has been consistent in having some of the best anti-virus definitions, and I have therefore spent considerable time promoting Avira on computer forums as it truly did have definitions that were better than most, if not all, free and pay-for antivirus software.
Please correct this if it's not accurate: I understand that Avira no longer offers anti-virus software only.
